The Monday Mommy Blues

The Super Bowl is over
The laundry is high
The dishes are deep
I could easily cry

It's Monday morning
And to add to the fray
My kids haven't bathed in
one
no, two
no, three days!!

Where did the time go?
What did we do?
We took down the Christmas tree
Yes, in February
Does this frighten you too?

I am holding it together
You would never know at first glance
That I am quite overwhelmed with my circumstance

I love my life and my family too
But today I can tell you that
This mommy is having
